Introduction

My research in Cubism mainly focuses on two of the major artists of the movement - Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque. Specifically, it focuses on the influences that drove these two artists, as well as the influence their art had on other cubist artists. In addition, I have chosen to focus on a few unique approaches to the movement, including the influences of literature, music, and even mental illness.
